What is the TJBC?
The TJBC is a business club dedicated to helping our members and sponsors build new business relationships and take fledgling existing ones that little bit further. Through a series of initiatives including monthly breakfast gatherings, a golf day, annual lunch, access to the web site and the e-newsletter members of TJBC will be able to widen their business network with people that they already share a common bond. Whether you are a stalwart of the club who remembers the “good old days”, a parent taking your first tentative steps with the under 7s, one of our valued sponsors or the prop for the 5th team, you will be made very welcome. Our aim is to take the massive business potential that exists in a club like ours and turn it into a reality, but without the pressure and ridiculously early starts that come with traditional networking groups.
The reasons why we have created this forum ...
Take a look around you when you are next at the club. How much business knowledge, how many contacts and how many opportunities are there? Perhaps the guy you are sharing a beer with is the Marketing Director of a company you have chased for years. Maybe the mum of the under 10 captain has 15 years experience in your industry at a senior level and is looking for a part time role. Perhaps one of the “old guys” who enjoy their club lunches could be the perfect non exec for your business. We know that not many people ever ask what other club members do for a living and we applaud that because we all need to relax and the weekend is probably not the best place to talk shop. But times are tough for everyone and people in this club could be really good for your business.
What does it cost and how do I join?
Annual membership - £350 (+vat)
Breakfast - £10 per head
Guests - £20 per head
Members can bring the same guest twice a year

You can pay for your breakfast at the event, although if you confirm your booking and don’t attend you will still be charge
